Special Costeña Chop with Zambos Plantain Originals

  • 1 spoonful of cornstarch
  • 4 spoonfuls of water
  • 1 cup ketchup sauce
  • 1 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup orange soda
  • 1/2 cup of coconut milk
  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 spoonful of vegetable oil
  • 1 family bag Zambos Plantain Originals


  • In a pot, place the ketchup sauce, mayonnaise, soda and milk. Stir and bring the sauce to a boil. Cook for about 10 minutes and thicken with the cornstarch, diluted with 4 tablespoons of water.
  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  • In a frying pan with the tablespoon of vegetable oil, cook the pork chops, bathe with the sauce and serve accompanied by Zambos Plantain Originals.
